Dishaya / Terms Of Service
Terms Of Service
Plain English, no surprises. If something here reads unfairly, tell us and we will fix the term, not lawyer past you.
1. What Dishaya Is
Dishaya is an intelligence service: you ask questions and Dishaya produces answers, verified research reports, documents, and decks. Some answers run on our cloud; if you install the app, some can run entirely on your own device.
2. Your Account
You sign in with an email address and a one-time code. No password exists, so keep your inbox secure; anyone with access to your email can access your account. You must be legally able to enter a contract, and you are responsible for activity under your account.
3. Your Content And Your Work
- Your chats are yours. When you are signed in, your chats and their history are saved to your account so they follow you across devices and Dishaya can tailor answers to you. You can delete any chat at any time, or turn on Incognito to keep a conversation off your account entirely. We do not train models on your chats.
- Research reports, documents, and decks you create are yours. Research reports are stored with your account so you can reopen them; documents and decks are stored on your device.
- Notes you import are yours and stay on your device. If you build on one, its text is processed to produce the result and is not stored on our servers.
- We claim no ownership over anything you create with or bring into Dishaya, and we do not train models on your content.
- You agree not to use Dishaya to create content that is illegal, infringes others' rights, or is designed to deceive through fabricated citations.
4. Verification, Honestly Framed
Dishaya's research checks claims against their sources before writing them, and labels each claim (verified, partial, unverified, contradicted). This is a rigor tool, not a guarantee of truth: sources themselves can be wrong, and you remain responsible for decisions you make using any output. Do not treat any output as professional advice (legal, medical, financial) without a qualified human review.
5. Plans, Payments, And Refunds
- Founding Access (the free plan) includes a stated monthly allowance of work packages, documents, and decks. Allowances reset monthly and do not roll over.
- Feedback you send may earn extra work package credits for the month (up to a stated cap). Credits are a thank-you, not a payment, and expire with the month.
- The first 200 accounts carry a permanent 40% discount on paid plans, applied automatically at checkout.
- Pro and Studio are one month of access at a time, paid when you choose (price as shown at checkout in your currency). There is no auto renewal: a plan runs to its date and simply ends unless you renew it.
- Free-plan exports carry a small "Made with Dishaya" line; Pro and Studio exports are clean. The source ledger stays on every plan because it is the product.
- A run that fails, or that you cancel before delivery, does not count against your allowance.
- Refunds are usage-gated: a plan you have not used this period is refundable in full, self-serve from Settings or by asking Dishaya Intelligence, for 14 days after payment. Once you run even one work package in that period, the period is not refundable, because the work was already delivered. Anything outside that, write to [email protected] and we will look at it. If we get something wrong on our end or you are charged in error, we always make it right.
- Payments are processed by Stripe or Razorpay; we never see or store your card details.
6. Fair Use
Allowances and rate limits exist so the service stays fast and affordable for everyone. Automated abuse, attempting to extract our internal systems, reselling access, or circumventing limits may lead to suspension. We will warn you first unless the abuse is severe.
7. Service Changes And Availability
Dishaya is in active development and evolves quickly. We may change features with notice for material changes. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. If we ever discontinue the service, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and a way to export your work.
8. Liability
If something goes wrong and it is our fault, our total liability is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (for Free users, that is zero, so please weigh that when relying on outputs). We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. None of this limits liability that the law says cannot be limited.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have jurisdiction, though we will always try to resolve issues directly with you first: [email protected].
10. Changes To These Terms
If we change these terms materially, we will email you at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the new terms.
